There is something about the second half of life that changes the way we see things.
We have lived enough to have stories. We have changed, grown, reinvented ourselves, weathered things we never expected, and discovered things about ourselves we couldn't have known at 30.
And we're still becoming.
The 50 Over 50 Project celebrates women in this season of life through beautiful portraits and, just as importantly, through their stories.
I'm photographing women 50 and over and inviting them to step in front of my camera exactly as they are today. Not younger. Not perfected. Simply seen, celebrated and beautifully photographed.
In 2020, I joined photographers around the world in a movement celebrating women over 50. Here on the First Coast, I photographed 50 remarkable women, shared their stories, created a magazine, and brought everyone together for a portrait exhibition and celebration.
But the experience left me wanting to hear more.
The more women I photograph, the more fascinated I become by the lives we live in these decades. There are stories of reinvention and resilience, certainly, but also ordinary joys, unexpected turns, new beginnings, hard-earned wisdom and the freedom that can come from knowing ourselves a little better.
So I decided to do it again.
I'm photographing another group of women over 50 and creating a collection of portraits and stories that celebrates who they are now.

You don't need an extraordinary résumé, a dramatic reinvention or a perfect body to be part of this project.
You just need to be a woman over 50 willing to show up as yourself.
Maybe you already love being photographed. Maybe you’ve spent years avoiding the camera. Either way, I’ll guide you through the entire experience.
My job isn’t to turn you into someone else.
It’s to help you see more of the woman who’s already there.

Wardrobe & Styling Consultation
We’ll plan together to customize your dream shoot. You can choose from beauty portraits, business photos or even try out boudoir. We’ll go over all of your wardrobe options, including using some of our studio wardrobe, so you’re fully prepared for your session.

Our “Dream Team” will treat you to professional hair, makeup and wardrobe styling. We’re here for you every step of the way to make sure you have a great time and feel totally pampered for the day.

Fully Guided Photoshoot
You don't need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. That's my job. I'll guide you through everything, from how to stand and where to put your hands to the smallest changes in expression.
Most women arrive telling me they're “not photogenic.” They usually leave wondering why they waited so long.

Celebration Party & Exhibition
When the project is complete, we'll bring the women together for a portrait exhibition and celebration honoring the women, their portraits and the stories we've collected along the way.
You get one beautiful portrait of your choice that will be featured in our exhibition and magazine sharing your story.
You also get a $500 credit toward any additional images you may wish to purchase,
