Meet Kim Bomberger

You may want to know that I’m happily married to my best friend, have 3 amazing kids and 6 incredible grandchildren – that I love long walks on the beach, coffee dates, traveling and sitting on porches.

Or that I’m an accredited portrait photographer with over a decade of experience specializing in photographing women.

But I’m guessing what you really want to know is if I can actually
take photographs of you that you will love and be proud to share.

The truth is, there are a lot of incredible photographers who do stunning work, and I’m grateful that I’ve gained the skills to create beautiful portraits.

But my true passion is in the connections I get to make with beautiful souls.

  • To see their beauty.

  • To show it back to them in ways they may have never seen.

  • For the hugs and tears when the light comes on for so many of my clients as they are awakened to how beautiful and amazing they truly are.

  • When they leave the studio with their heads a little higher, have a new bounce in their steps, and renewed self confidence.

  • When they understand that they alone are the leading ladies of their own stories and begin showing up more powerfully in their lives.

If you are looking for someone to hold space for you, to hear you, to see you, and to capture you in images of yourself that you will love, it would be my great honor to serve you.

 FAQs

  • Once your session is booked, we will send you a welcome booklet that will give you a lot of great tips on wardrobe options that will be flattering and photograph well. We also offer a styling consultation over phone or Zoom to ensure you curate the perfect wardrobe for your session.

  • We do have a small but growing number of items in our studio wardrobe - especially items you may not ever want to purchase or wear outside of a photoshoot. These include some beautiful tulle skirts, lace dresses, and shimmering capes to dress up your outfits. If you’d like to try something different, ask us at your consultation.

  • We can usually photograph 5 different looks in the time we have together. We also suggest you bring additional outfits so we have options. Generally it’s better to bring too many outfits than not enough.

  • Your welcome booklet will give you a detailed plan for how to prepare and when to take care of various preparation steps, like touching up your hair, getting your mani/pedi, waxing, etc.

  • YES! We have an amazing team of professionals to take care of you. On the day of your session, simply show up with a clean, moisturized face and clean hair. We’ve got you from there!

  • Absolutely! We show you a chart of levels of makeup from natural to full on glam and you pick the level you’re comfortable with. And we will make any adjustments you’d like to be sure you’re one hundred percent happy with your hair and makeup before we take the first photograph.

  • Studio shoot days are Monday - Wednesday. We get started at 10:00 a.m. with hair and makeup, followed by the shoot. We finish up by 1:00. Since you’ll be all glammed up, it’s a great time to plan a lunch date afterward or a date night that evening!

  • Within 2 weeks your images will be ready for you to review and order.

  • Most women love our folio boxes. The deluxe box that comes with our top collection is a beautiful archival quality box that is imported from Ireland. Portraits are printed and matted and can be stored in the box until they’re ready to be framed.

We also carry albums which most of our boudoir clients prefer.

In addition, we offer beautiful wall art in print, canvas and metallic, and a variety of beautiful gift items.

  • This totally depends on the type of session and the products you want. Prices range from $500 - $5,000 or more. Give us a call and we can go over options and find the one that best meets your needs and desires.

  • I work out of a home studio located off of North Kernan Rd. in Jacksonville, FL. My clients tell me it makes them way less nervous than going to a big commercial space, and they feel like they’re enjoying a fun morning get-together with friends. That’s because they are! My primary lighting comes from a north facing window that makes every woman’s skin look amazing.

  • Honestly, if we put off everything we wanted to do until we lost weight, we might never do anything! You’re beautiful and deserve to be celebrated just as you are. Today. But I get it! My clients are pleasantly surprised to know that I can take at least 20 pounds off of any woman with camera angles alone. You’re going to love your images! Don’t put off loving and celebrating yourself to someday in the future that may never come.

  • Yes. I do beautiful, natural retouching to remove stray hairs, brighten eyes, whiten teeth, and take down shadows that look like wrinkles. This is such a personal matter, so we’ll talk about the level of retouching you would like, and I’m also happy to make additional edits after you’ve seen your images.

  • While my brand is unapologetically feminine, I knew early on that in order to serve women, I also needed to serve those they love. I photograph families and children, and also portraits or headshots for men.

  • You’ll want at least 2 weeks out to have time to prepare for you shoot. Sessions fill up quickly so you’ll want to get on the calendar to ensure your preferred time. Keep in mind, if you’re wanting a gift for a special occasion, products can take between 2 - 6 weeks to get in, so you’ll want to plan accordingly.

  • Because of space limitations, we don’t normally allow guests to attend unless they are going to be photographed with you.

  • Naturally, I want to share your photos, and when you book a session you sign a model release. However, I will never post anyone’s images that ask me not to.
